Hi, I’m Mike
A tenacious, ambitious, and energetic audio engineer, musician, and content creator. I am constantly exploring new avenues for business and creative expression. I am growing my audience on various platforms, and am always looking to expand my clientele and portfolio of work from a large variety of partners, artists, and creative people of all kinds.
Off Collar Studios is a project studio focusing on recording, production, mixing, and mastering, of music, podcasts, and other types of audio content. With a clientele consisting mostly of small, independent bands, artists, voice actors, content creators, and producers of various genres, we work either in an in-person environment or working with creatives across the globe through our growing network of digital and internet-based creatives. We have modern digital and analog technology, using hardware and software from small and large industry names including Antelope Audio, Presonus, Focusrite, Toft Audio Designs, Neumann, Advanced Audio Canada, Roswell Audio, AKG, 3U Audio, Gibson, Grace Audio, Waves, Universal Audio, iZotope, FabFilter, and others in our growing catalog of equipment and tools to bring your music, audio, and other creative projects to a new level of quality that fits the emotion, message, and feelings that you as the artist want your audience to experience when enjoying your art.
Early on
I am so fascinated by music, film, and audio and the capability of what music can do to bring your imagination and experiences from the mundane to amazing places. Early on, I fell in love with the idea of creating my own studio and music, so I set out to learn everything I could.
Current
I have been learning and working in filmmaking, audio engineering, and music for over a decade and I’m still learning every day. I am building my business as a freelancer, producer, creator, musician, as well as working on my own studio and record label.
